Nestled on 31-acres of pristine land in beautiful Pacific Palisades California, the Bel-Air Bay Club has been a center of social activity in Los Angeles since its construction in 1927. Today the Bel-Air Bay Club consists of two facilities, the Upper and Lower Club, which are separated by Pacific Coast Highway. The grounds are located on a quarter mile of immaculate beachfront with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Santa Monica Bay and picturesque Catalina Island. Coupled with the legendary golden sunsets of southern California, the Bel-Air Bay Club is a premier event venue for weddings, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, parties, conferences, retreats, private concerts, theatrical events, corporate functions and social galas.
Los Angeles' Premier Event Venue
The Bel-Air Bay Club has been a premier event venue for a large number of events. We host events ranging from as few as 25 guests to as many as 1500 guests. Our event staff is on hand and willing to help plan, setup and cater any function, anywhere on our premises. We offer a variety of lavish décor options, including elegant table settings, color schemes, specialty linens and ice carvings which can add a distinctive brilliance to your special event. Our event staff can also provide catering for any size event. Our Executive Chef’s trademark is innovative world-view cooking with an exciting French influence. With every dish made from scratch, his flair combines the contemporary with the classic. We have a wine connoisseur on staff to help you choose a bottle of vintage wine from our sizeable wine cellar to compliment your meal.
Bel-Air Bay Club has a number of different event venues to choose from. Depending on what type of event and how many people plan to attend our staff can guide you to the perfect area of our club. Our Ravello Lounge can hold up to 50 guests and is an ideal venue for small conferences and parties. Our Board Room/Terrace has the ability to hold up to 125 guests and offers up stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and nearby hillsides. It is an ideal event venue for parties, small weddings and corporate functions. The Courtyard is another perfect venue for small receptions. This area houses a large fireplace and fountain and can accommodate up to 200 guests. The largest event venue we have is located on the lawn. This area has breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Bay and at dusk provides guests with spectacular sunsets. The Lawn typically is used for larger functions as it has the capacity to seat up to 800 guests.
